Sam Allberry
RZIM Apologist

Sam Allberry is a global speaker and apologist for RZIM based at the Zacharias Trust in Oxford. Sam is also an editor for The Gospel Coalition, a Guest Lecturer at the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics and a founding editor of LivingOut.org. Before joining the Zacharias Trust, Sam was a full-time pastor at St Mary’s Church in Maidenhead for 8 years, where he continues as an honorary pastor. Previously, Sam was the Students’ Pastor at St Ebbe’s Church in Oxford. He studied theology at Wycliffe Hall, and preaching at the Cornhill Training Course.

Sam is the author of the best selling book ‘Is God Anti-Gay?’ as well as other popular-level books on various aspects of Christian belief and truth, including most recently ‘James For You’ and ‘Why Bother With Church?’ Sam has a particular ministry in helping Christians respond to issues of sexuality with both truth and grace, and speaks and consults regularly around the world on this issue at churches, seminaries and universities.
