Executive Assistant to Global Media Director

£22k to £28k per annum plus benefits package (starting salary will depend on experience)

Oxford (37.5 hours per week)

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic assistant to join our UK-based team. The role is to provide a pivotal support service to the Global Media Director (GMD).

As a successful applicant, you would assist the GMD to ensure effective implementation of the global media strategy and communications throughout the organisation.  You will also have the opportunity to become a member of a stimulating Christian community.  Your main responsibilities would include:

  • Providing administrative and communications support for the GMD, including acting as the first point of contact, posting on social media, gathering regular updates from the wider team to ensure effective communication and helping deliver the organisational media strategy.
  • Day-to-day diary management and coordinating international travel plans, venues and itineraries for the GMD, as well as a responsibility for associated administration.
  • Representing the GMD at meetings (where appropriate).

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience working as a personal assistant (or similar role) preferably for someone at senior management level.  You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, be proficient in managing significant levels of written and verbal communication at a range of organisational levels and have excellent interpersonal skills.

You will also have the opportunity to use your well-developed organisational skills and experience of dealing with conflicting and rapidly changing priorities.  Experience of diary management, coordinating meetings and organising logistics would also be highly advantageous.

You will be a team player, but will also have the ability to work autonomously too. Experience of posting on social media in a work setting would also be a distinct advantage.
